At Carolambda, embrace the simplicity of rustic living in the charming accommodations provided at Camp Gravatt. Attendees can choose between traditional wood-frame cabins and military-style bunk tents. Both options offer basic bunks and a unique closeness to nature, allowing you to fully immerse in the serene surroundings.
The cabins and bunk tents are designed for comfort and minimalism, with no additional amenities inside to enhance your experience of disconnecting and reconnecting with nature and community. Conveniently located central restrooms and showers are available in the camping areas, ensuring your basic needs are met while maintaining the rustic charm of the retreat.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Camp Gravatt rules require that attendees to adhere to gender-specific sleeping quarters (M/F). We encourage attendees to choose whichever sleeping quarter aligns with their gender identity.
Most of the cabins and tents do NOT have access to electricity. Cabin and tent assignments are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Special accommodations are available on a first-come, first-served basis, catering specifically to those with limited mobility or those who require access to electricity and refrigeration for medical needs.
If you need special accommodations, please indicate your requirements during the registration process. You can also reach out to us directly by emailing carolambdaroundup@gmail.com. We encourage early communication to ensure we can meet your needs.
All meals are provided by the Camp Gravatt staff and are included in your registration fee.
If you have special dietary needs please contact the Carolambda Committee and we will do our utmost to accommodate your needs.
Snacks and drinks will be available for sale in between meals. Money raised from the sale of snacks and drinks goes towards the Carolambda Scholarship Fund.
The Campy Cache
You are sure to find something unique at this annual tradition. Attendees are encouraged to 'clear out the closet' and bring gently-used or handmade items to donate to the silent auction. Items will be displayed throughout the weekend for silent bids. Bidding ends following the Saturday night speaker meeting at 9:00 PM. Winners may pick up their treasures immediately after close of the auction. Payment for items won may be rendered in cash, check, or via Venmo or PayPal.
All proceeds collected from the sale of donated items is gifted to the Carolambda Scholarship Fund. Each year, this fund allows multiple people to attend the retreat who may otherwise face financial barriers. We hope you will keep this in mind while perusing the items; bid with a generous heart and have fun!
